A fun, colourful blackwork pattern of hot air balloons and clouds.

Step by step instructions are included on how to get started with blackwork embroidery, which is essentially just backstitches.

I have used variegated rainbow thread for my balloons, but you could stitch these individually in different colours (see photo).

Pattern designed to fit a round or square 6 inch frame but due to the repeating pattern can easily be adapted to fit any sized frame.

Would make a lovely gift for a child's nursery.
